SO SO good and SOOOO easy. You just do the batter entirely in a blender. Yum yum yum.
Perhaps part of why I love this so much is because my partner makes it for me, and I'm lazy. His tips are:
- Get the butter up the sides of the pan, not just in the bottom, as much as you can
- Only bake for 15 minutes (I think the recipe says a little longer)
- Only put the apple pieces in the batter, save the apple sauce for pouring over after it's baked
- The apple filling is from her apple turnovers recipe, we just use one large apple
